Office supplies and services provider Office Depot announced it is expanding its technology product offerings to include health and fitness devices designed to give business professionals additional ways to stay healthy. For instance, the companys online and retail stores will start offering Rhythm by Scosche ($79.99), a Bluetooth armband heart rate monitor that is app-powered and attaches to the users forearm to track heart rate, calories burned, distance, speed, pace and more. The Striiv Play Pedometer ($59.99) is a discreet activity tracker that makes fitness feel like play. The device tracks activity including stairs and steps as well as distance, calories and more. The companys Smart Pedometer, which sells for $99.99, uses an activity motivation system that learns the users behaviors and designs personalized challenges tailored to personal activity levels to help the user reach fitness goals even on busy days.

Fitness Goes Back To Basics

From now until January 1, Rollero is offering free admission to a group fitness class with Max Workouts review every donation of two cans of food. Based on data from the United Way of Northern NJ, I know that close to 30 percent of the families in Hunterdon County are struggling financially and going into the winter months, food banks need donations more than ever, said Rollero who established Healthy U Fitness in 1992. She said people are also struggling with the commitment to be healthy and stay fit so she decided to combine efforts to create the Healthy U Fitness Holiday Food Drive. From now until January 1, anyone who donates two cans of food can enjoy a free class and choose from: strength and cardio training, Pilates lunch express and Pilates floor, yoga, Zumba, and Tabata boot camp, a high-intensive interval training program.

Things such as gel pads, Bosu balls, and physio balls were used. The thought being that your body needs to recruit more muscles and work harder on an unstable surface than it would in order to perform the same exercise on a stable surface. It was a valid theory. You do have to work harder. However, it turns out these exercises do more harm than good to both your body and your golf swing.

The site's 5,000 users can also choose to watch classes on the appealing sounding 'Pyjama Pilates' and 'Beditation'. The classes can be watched live or accessed via their archive.
